- Casino Gambling in Ohio?--Your guide waffles and gives in on casino gambling in Ohio.
- Holland America Cruise--Your guide recently took a cruise from Florida and you won't believe what happened.
- Too Many Malls--Stores are closing all over town. Your guide predicted it for years. See, I told you so!
- Enough Cellphones--Too many drivers are too busy fumbling with their phone to watch where they're going. Why doesn't the state stop it?
- The Arches are Back--N. High Street once again has lighted arches! What? Something honoring Columbus history? How did that slip through? Must be a mistake.
- Columbus: A World Class City?--Is Columbus a "world class city?" What is a world class city, anyway?
- ODOT and US 23--Why is it we can go about anywhere in Ohio on a freeway EXCEPT the place I most often go, Toledo? ODOT doesn't seem to have an answer.
- Downtown Redevelopment--Let's see, we need to revitalize Downtown/Northland/Clintonville/Linden/ Continent/Westland/insert-your-area-here: when will it stop? When we stop developing and start preserving!
- Carmen and COTA--Dispatch columnist Barbara Carmen recently wrote an article criticizing COTA's Project Mainstream service. But who should really be criticized?
- Earth to Legislature--DUH! How many times does the Supreme Court have to rule school funding unconstitutional before you get it?
